Tenika is:

A meat popsicle. This may or may not change in time. Outlook is not good for the former.

In other news, it seems that I still--still, damnit--fail to be an interesting or intriguing person. I also can't write entertaining biographies to save my life, which...probably shows. Um. (cough)

Aside from being a meat popsicle, I am also: a closet smartass, short, caffeine addicted, a wannabe poet, more fond of manga than Western comics (with the notable exception of Gaiman's Sandman, which is in fact the flaming wonder of this century), a music junkie, a lover of nearly all that is generally slashtastic and intellectually nerdy (think Beowulf fanfiction here), and inordinately fond of characters who are either psychotic or brutally sarcastic.

I have two goals as a fanfiction author:
1) to improve my writing
2) to recommend as much work by other people as is humanly possible. (For these recommendations, see my dashre journal--I've only posted a few recs due to time constraints, but I hope to get on top of this in the near future).

For a long time I wanted to be popular and massive in the manner of some of the fandom greats, but upon realizing that this was never going to happen, decided to instead damn the torpedoes and stick simply with those things that pleased me. So if you don't like what I write, tough rocks. :) Also, do note that I am a rather slow poster, and patently neurotic about all things social.
